Our Chief Program & Training Services Consultant is a certified Project Management Professional with over 20 years of healthcare management and operations experience. technical training experience in clinical, non-clinical, vocational, academic, and corporate teaching environments.
His previous project management clients include the United States Customs and Information Services, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Before relocating to the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area to complete his formal project management training at George Mason University, he directed the day-to-day operations of Hampton Road’s largest cosmetic ambulatory surgical center while concurrently directing a variety of capital investment projects (e.g. an aesthetic center expansion, a COTS server and refresh program, conversion to a COTS electronic timekeeping system, and reinstatement of the pre-certification department with its own case management system), just to name a few.
In 2014, he worked on the U.S. Army TDRL Project and felt rewarded by the fantastic outcomes of the centralized scheduling system framework he designed for a 23-state/57-facility U.S. Army civilian medical care network.
As a senior level healthcare executive who rose through the ranks from a Medical Collector, he has successfully directed a multitude of healthcare projects from kickoff to final delivery, demonstrated his in-depth knowledge of project management principles, healthcare operations, revenue cycle management, and his passion for training.
As of this day, he holds a near perfect pass rate (98.7%) when preparing his students for various certifications.
